Officially known as Barossa Reservoir, the Whispering Wall is a dam located in the Barossa Valley just outside Adelaide in South Australia.
The dam is a big tourist draw card because of its unique feature. Standing at either end of the 144 meter wall and talking can be heard clearly at the other end of the dam. Due to the curve in the concrete wall sound waves bounce along the wall with ease and can be clearly heard without shouting.
The Whispering Wall is located 50km north of the Adelaide CBD. Located in the famous Barossa Valley surrounded by some of the worlds most famous vineyards.
